Phoenix airport

So I told everyone I would be keeping a blog about my travels and what I am learning out in Reno and I figured there is no better time to start than while I am waiting to board.

So here I am sitting in the Phoenix airport. I arrived in Phoenix at around 6:00 but I wish I could have stayed in the air longer.

The landscape of Arizona is really quite incredible and while I have traveled a good amount of the U.S., I have never really seen anything like this.

It is like once upon a time, people blasted a bunch of rock away and put a big city in the middle of nowhere. There are buildings and homes everywhere, but everything is surrounded by big boulders.

Another note about Phoenix... It is HOT. The temperature was 100 degrees when I hit the ground.
